Launched initially as a joint venture between Destini Aviation and Avia Technique, Destini Avia Technique has been servicing the commercial aviation industry in the Malaysian and wider Asian region since 2015.

Based out of their facility in Bukit Jelutong – Malaysia, the company specialises in the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft equipment including; Oxygen Cylinder Assemblies, Fire Extinguishers, Survival equipment (Slides and Life Vests) and ELT beacons.

Over the last 8 years, Destini have grown significantly year on year, expanding their capabilities on aircraft safety components and are now widely recognised in the industry for their services. Destini have also attained key accreditations and certifications along the way, including CAA Malaysia, CAA Thailand, DOT and EASA approval.

As part of their commitment to continue to provide unparalleled levels of safety and maintenance safety to the Asian aviation industry, Destini Avia Technique have rebranded to become Avia Technique Asia Sdn. Bhd.

The rebranding is the natural next step in the companies evolution and means they are now better placed to continue to provide a gold standard service to the extended APAC region.

The company’s Management team is spearheaded by General Manager – Mohd Jamil Zulkifli, a Cambridge University Engineering Graduate with over 30 years’ experience in Design and Development within the Aerospace and Aviation industry. Mohd has been involved in nearly all of the notable key aviation development projects in Malaysia between 1995 and 2006.
Quality standards and regulation compliance is led by our Quality Manager – Mohammed Salim Sikkandar, an Aerospace Engineering graduate from IIUM. Mohammed has been working in MRO since 2009 and is a certified Supply Chain Practitioner, a Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology and Professional Technologist with MBOT.

Day-to-day operations are an essential part of the business, ensuring production functions run smoothly and efficiently. Mohd Nizam Zain – Operations Manager, is a proven and experienced leader in this role, with excellent data processing skills and strong problem-solving capability.

Amir Hakim Shabri – Business Development Manager, is responsible for the Business Unit. He is an astute, respectful professional, with strong experience and networking abilities in the Aviation and Aerospace industry. His main focus is on maximising growth and supporting cross-functional teams to increase customer satisfaction.
